Bureau of Local Development and Citizen Initiatives implements tasks that respond to specific needs of NGOs and local communities, contribute to local leaders' skill development, changes in attitudes, local activity build-up, and local resources-based development, but are not reduced to one-off actions but seek for system solutions in line with broader national policy and employ various intervention types (e.g. educational/ information support, financial instruments, grants, etc.), as well as commission various types of own analysis and research studies.
